6-5 LOVES to read!

If given the choice, this is how 6-5 would choose to spend their downtime.  What a gift!

Due to our upcoming election, we are learning about government early this year!  As part of our learning we study different kinds of governments around the world. To best understand this, students were put into four different groups with one common task: Build the tallest tower.  

The catch: Each group was given a specific set of instructions about their roles and how they were allowed to complete the tasks. The instructions they were given mirrored different types of governments. We later reviewed four different types of government and the students were able to connect their learning to their experiences when building their towers. 

 

Welcome to École Ness and to room 205's classroom blog.  I am SO excited to start this exciting year of learning with the kiddos of 6-5 and 6-6 in partnership with their families and support systems.
